Important Fitment Note: Thoroughly flush the power steering system with fresh hydraulic fluid (VW G 002 000 / G 004 000 specification green hydraulic fluid) before installation. Inspect and clean or replace the fluid reservoir to prevent metallic contaminants from entering and scoring the new internal pump vanes. Bleed trapped air from the hydraulic circuit by cycling the steering wheel lock-to-lock multiple times with the front wheels raised off the ground before starting the engine.
