Description

This direct-replacement electric turbocharger diverter valve (cut-off solenoid valve) is manufactured to original equipment standards to control boost retention and release in VAG 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI/TFSI EA888 engine platforms. Featuring an upgraded piston-style internal mechanism, this unit replaces the failure-prone original rubber diaphragm design to deliver superior thermal resistance, leak-free operation, and fast boost pressure relief when the throttle closes. Installing this valve remedies boost pressure loss, sluggish throttle acceleration, check engine lights (P0299 boost pressure under-boost codes), and diaphragm tearing under tuned or high-boost conditions.
