Description

This premium front crankshaft flange and oil seal assembly is engineered to factory original equipment structural specifications to ensure tight, leak-free oil containment. Manufactured as an integrated unit featuring a heavy-duty mounting flange and a high-performance polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) Teflon radial seal ring, it resists high engine friction, extreme thermal cycling, and aggressive synthetic motor oils. Positioned behind the main timing assembly, it acts as a primary sealing barrier around the nose of the crankshaft to prevent crankcase oil loss and protect vulnerable drive belts from slipping due to oil contamination. Replacing a weeping or failed factory unit eliminates messy driveway spots, maintains proper engine lubrication levels, and safeguards the engine's frontend timing loop.
