Description

Application Note: Specifically engineered for Toyota 1.4L (4ZZ-FE), 1.6L (3ZZ-FE), and 1.8L (1ZZ-FE) 16-Valve DOHC petrol engines. (Note: This kit is supplied without the VVT-i variable valve timing camshaft actuator hub gear). Important Fitment Note: Includes primary timing chain, hydraulic timing chain tensioner, fixed guide rail, tensioner slide rail, exhaust camshaft gear, and crankshaft timing sprocket. Clean all timing cover sealing surfaces thoroughly prior to installation and inspect the oil sump strainer for plastic debris from worn old guides. Dedicated Toyota timing marks on the bright chain links must be lined up with the corresponding punch marks on the sprockets at Top Dead Center (TDC) during reassembly.
