Application Note: Specifically engineered for Toyota 2TR-FE 2.7L 16-Valve DOHC naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engines with VVT-i. Important Fitment Note: Dual-chain system includes primary timing chain, balance shaft drive chain, primary hydraulic tensioner, balance shaft chain tensioner, fixed guide rails, tensioner slide rails, camshaft timing sprockets, crankshaft gears, and balance shaft drive sprockets. Clean all timing cover sealing surfaces thoroughly before installation and inspect the oil sump strainer screen for plastic fragments from old, worn guide rails. Dedicated Toyota timing alignment marks on the colored chain links must be lined up with the corresponding punch marks on the sprockets at Top Dead Center (TDC) during reassembly.
