Description
This precision-engineered Automatic Drive / Serpentine Belt Tensioner Assembly is designed for Toyota's 2.0-litre (1AD-FTV) and 2.2-litre (2AD-FTV / 2AD-FHV) D-4D turbo-diesel engine series. Manufactured with a heavy-duty cast aluminum housing, an internal automatic torsional spring dampening mechanism, and a high-durability steel pulley with a high-speed shielded ball bearing, it maintains constant belt tension under heavy diesel engine torque loads. Replacing a squeaking, worn, or misaligned tensioner eliminates belt slippage, engine bay squeal, and accessory drive vibration, restoring smooth power transmission to the alternator, air conditioning compressor, and water pump.
