Description

This precision-machined front wheel hub is manufactured to original equipment standards to provide a rigid, balanced mounting interface for the front brake disc rotor and wheel assembly. Forged from high-tensile carbon steel and induction heat-treated for superior fatigue resistance, this hub houses the front drive axle splines and rotates smoothly inside the wheel bearing assembly. Replacing a damaged, distorted, or worn front wheel hub eliminates wheel wobble, high-speed steering wheel vibration under braking, hub flange runout, and severe grinding noises caused by spinning bearing inner races or stripped wheel bolt threads.

Application Note: Specifically engineered for GM / Opel small-to-mid platform vehicles equipped with 4-lug wheel hubs and 22-spline drive axles. Important Fitment Note: Thoroughly inspect the front wheel bearing journal on the steering knuckle during installation. If replacing a hub due to bearing failure or inner race spin, press in a brand-new double-row wheel bearing simultaneously. Clean all spline surfaces and apply anti-seize lubricant lightly. Tighten the central CV axle nut strictly to GM torque specifications using a calibrated torque wrench, then secure with a new split cotter pin or stake notch—never rely on impact guns to seat the hub.
