Application Note: Specifically engineered for Nissan YD25DDTi 2.5L 16-Valve DOHC common-rail turbodiesel engines across Navara, NP300, Pathfinder, and Cabstar models. Important Fitment Note: Dual-chain system includes primary lower timing chain, secondary upper camshaft timing chain, primary and secondary hydraulic tensioners, fixed guide rails, tensioner slide rails, and timing sprockets. Before assembling, the front timing cover must be thoroughly cleaned and the oil sump removed to clean out any broken plastic guide debris that could clog the oil pump pickup screen. Always lock the crankshaft, fuel pump, and double camshafts at Top Dead Center (TDC) using dedicated YD25 engine alignment pins before releasing the new tensioners.
