Description
This direct-replacement rear hydraulic brake wheel cylinder is manufactured from lightweight, high-strength cast aluminium alloy to original equipment specifications. It converts hydraulic fluid line pressure into mechanical force, expanding the rear brake shoes against the internal drum surface for responsive, balanced rear axle braking and reliable parking brake holding force. Constructed with high-density heat-resistant EPDM rubber seals and internal pistons, this corrosion-resistant unit prevents fluid leakage and air ingress. Replacing a worn or sticking wheel cylinder restores firm brake pedal height, eliminates brake fluid loss onto rear shoe linings, prevents vehicle pulling under braking, and remedies uneven rear shoe wear.

Application Note: Specifically engineered for Nissan NP200, Renault Logan, and Renault Kangoo models equipped with rear drum brake systems and lightweight aluminium wheel cylinders. Important Fitment Note: Always replace wheel cylinders in axle pairs (left and right) to ensure equal hydraulic pressure distribution across the rear axle. Thoroughly clean and inspect the drum interior, backing plate, and brake shoe friction material. If brake fluid has contaminated existing shoes, replace the shoe set concurrently. Always bleed the rear hydraulic circuit using fresh DOT 4 fluid to remove air bubbles following cylinder installation.
