Description
This precision-engineered engine timing chain kit is manufactured to exact original equipment specifications to maintain precise valve synchronization and smooth dual-overhead camshaft drive operation across Nissan KA24DE 16-valve engines. Constructed with heavy-duty, heat-treated alloy steel links and low-friction, high-density composite guide channels, this dual-chain replacement kit directly addresses timing chain elongation, plastic guide rail disintegration, and hydraulic tensioner wear. Application Note: Specifically engineered for Nissan KA24DE 2.4L 16-Valve DOHC naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engines. (Note: Does not fit earlier KA24E 12-Valve SOHC engine variants). Important Fitment Note: Dual-chain engine system includes upper camshaft timing chain, lower crankshaft timing chain, upper hydraulic tensioner, lower hydraulic tensioner, fixed guide rails, tensioner slide rails, and timing sprockets. Clean the front timing cover thoroughly and remove the oil sump to clear out any old broken plastic guide fragments prior to reassembly. Align the plated timing links on the chains with the corresponding punch marks on the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets at Top Dead Center (TDC) during installation.
