Application Note: Specifically engineered for Nissan Z24 2.4L 8-Valve SOHC naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engines with double-row (duplex) timing chain setups. (Note: Verify chain type before installation as early Z24 models use a double chain, whereas some late-model transitions utilize single-row setups). Important Fitment Note: Includes heavy-duty double-row primary timing chain, hydraulic timing chain tensioner, fixed guide rail, tensioner slide rail, camshaft sprocket, and crankshaft gear. Drop the oil sump to clean out any old broken guide rail debris prior to assembly. Ensure the engine is locked at Top Dead Center (TDC) on cylinder #1 and line up the bright timing links with the timing marks on the sprockets during reassembly.
