This premium heavy-duty raw-edge cogged power transmission V-belt (13AV profile / 13mm top width, 1700mm outer length) is manufactured to original equipment standards using fiber-reinforced polychloroprene synthetic rubber, deep molded cogs, and high-modulus polyester tension cords. Designed for high-stress heavy commercial truck, bus, agricultural, and industrial auxiliary drive systems (alternators, water pumps, cooling fans, and primary engine accessory loops), the raw-edge cogged construction provides outstanding flex fatigue resistance, enhanced airflow for cooler operating temperatures, and superior grip around small-diameter or multi-accessory pulley setups. Application Note: Specifically engineered for Mercedes-Benz, Scania, Renault, DAF, and agricultural machinery requiring a heavy-duty 13AV (13mm top width) raw-edge cogged V-belt profile at 1700mm length. Important Fitment Note: Clean all pulley grooves thoroughly with a wire brush to remove rust, scale, oil, and rubber glaze prior to fitting. Inspect pulleys for uneven groove wear or misalignment. Do not force or lever the belt over pulley flanges with screwdrivers as this fractures internal tension cords; slacken the adjustment bracket or tensioner pulley completely, fit the belt, and adjust tension to factory deflection specifications (approx. 10–12 mm flex on the longest span under moderate thumb pressure). Re-check belt tension after 50 km or 5 hours of operation.
