Application Note: Specifically engineered for Mazda 1.3L (ZJ), 1.5L (ZY), and 1.6L (Z6) 16-Valve DOHC MZR / Z-series petrol engine platforms. Important Fitment Note: Includes primary timing chain, hydraulic timing chain tensioner, fixed guide rail, tensioner slide rail, and crankshaft timing gear. Clean all timing cover gasket surfaces thoroughly prior to installation and inspect the oil sump strainer screen for plastic debris from old, worn guide rails. Dedicated Mazda timing pin locking tools must be used to lock the camshafts and crankshaft at Top Dead Center (TDC) before securing the tensioner.
