Description
This direct-replacement power transmission V-belt (B-Section / 17mm profile, 745mm inside length) is manufactured to original equipment specifications using high-tensile synthetic rubber compounds, heat-resistant polychloroprene, and reinforced internal polyester tension cords. Designed for compact, heavy-duty auxiliary drive systems (alternator, fan, water pump, and industrial station power units), this belt provides maximum grip, minimal stretch, and superior resistance to oil, heat, and environmental degradation. Application Note: Specifically engineered for heavy-duty automotive engine auxiliary drives and industrial machinery requiring a classic B-Section 17mm top-width V-belt. Important Fitment Note: Thoroughly clean all pulley grooves using a wire brush to remove rust, oil, dirt, and rubber glaze prior to installation. Check pulleys for uneven groove wear or misalignment. Do not force or pry the belt over pulley edges with screwdrivers as this breaks the internal tension cords; loosen the adjustment bracket completely, fit the belt, and adjust tension to factory deflection standards (approx. 10–12 mm flex on the longest span). Re-check belt tension after 50 km of initial operation.
