This premium heavy-duty raw-edge cogged power transmission V-belt (17AV profile / 17mm top width, 1460mm outer length) is engineered to original equipment standards using fiber-reinforced polychloroprene synthetic rubber, deep molded cogs, and high-modulus polyester tension cords. Designed for high-demand commercial vehicle auxiliary drive systems (alternator, water pump, fan, and air conditioning compressor units) as well as industrial power equipment, the raw-edge cogged construction provides outstanding flex fatigue resistance, improved heat dissipation, and enhanced grip around small-diameter sheaves. Replacing a stretched, cracked, glazed, or slipping drive belt restores full electrical generation and engine cooling efficiency, prevents drive squeal under heavy mechanical loads, and avoids sudden auxiliary drive failure.

Application Note: Specifically engineered for Ford L-Series heavy commercial trucks, Mercedes-Benz/Isuzu buses, industrial diesel platforms, and stationary machinery requiring a heavy-duty 17AV (17mm top width) raw-edge cogged V-belt profile. Important Fitment Note: Clean all pulley grooves with a wire brush to remove rust, scale, oil, and rubber glaze prior to fitting. Inspect pulleys for uneven wear or misalignment. Avoid forcing or prying the belt over pulley edges with screwdrivers as this fractures internal tension cords; slacken the adjustment bracket or tensioner pulley completely, fit the belt, and adjust tension to factory deflection specifications (approx. 10–12 mm flex on the longest span under moderate thumb pressure). Re-check belt tension after 50 km or 5 hours of operation.
