This direct-replacement metal-free eco cartridge engine oil filter element is manufactured to original equipment specifications to provide high-efficiency oil filtration, stable hydraulic oil pressure, and maximum component protection for high-performance diesel engines. Constructed with premium pleated synthetic-blended filter media, this environmentally friendly filter element captures microscopic wear particles, carbon soot, and sludge deposits without restricting oil flow. Application Note: Specifically engineered for BMW N57 3.0L 6-Cylinder Turbo Diesel engine platforms requiring eco metal-free cartridge oil filters. Important Fitment Note: Thoroughly clean the engine oil filter housing cap and internal reservoir prior to inserting the new filter cartridge. Always fit new rubber O-ring seals to the filter housing cap stem and lightly coat them with fresh engine oil. Seat the cartridge element firmly into the housing, screw the cap on by hand to avoid cross-threading, and torque to factory specification (25 Nm). Re-fill oil to maximum line and run the engine to check for leaks around the housing cap seal.
