Description

This precision-engineered mechanical engine water pump assembly is manufactured to exact original equipment specifications to deliver optimal coolant circulation and heat dissipation across BMW's classic 6-cylinder naturally aspirated engines. Constructed with a heavy-duty cast aluminum housing, precision sealed bearings, a leak-resistant mechanical shaft seal, and an upgraded metal/composite impeller, this pump is designed to resist cavitation, withstand extreme thermal stress, and eliminate common plastic impeller degradation. Replacing a worn, squeaking, or leaking water pump prevents rapid coolant loss, thermal engine block distortion, and severe cylinder head warping.

Bleed the cooling system thoroughly following installation using approved BMW blue/green G48 coolant.
